For the Blue Velvet Swirl:

- 1 ½ cups of the vanilla batter (set aside)

- 1 tbsp cocoa powder

- 1 tbsp buttermilk

- 1 tsp white vinegar

- Blue gel food coloring (as needed)
Optional Glaze:

- 1 cup powdered sugar

- 2–3 tbsp milk

- ½ tsp vanilla extract
Instructions
1. Prep & Preheat
- Preheat oven to 325°F (165°C).
- Grease and flour a 10-inch Bundt pan or two loaf pans.
2. Make the Vanilla Batter
- Cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy (5 mins).
- Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each.
- Whisk dry ingredients (flour, baking powder, salt) in a separate bowl.
- Alternate adding dry ingredients and milk, starting and ending with flour.
- Stir in vanilla.
3. Create the Blue Velvet Swirl
- Remove 1 ½ cups of vanilla batter into a separate bowl.
- Mix in cocoa, buttermilk, vinegar, and blue food coloring until vibrant.
4. Layer & Swirl
- Spoon alternate dollops of vanilla and blue batter into the pan.
- Use a knife to swirl gently—don’t overmix!
5. Bake to Perfection
- Bake 60-75 mins (until a toothpick has moist crumbs).
- Cool 15 mins in the pan, then transfer to a wire rack.
6. Optional Glaze
- Whisk powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla until smooth.
- Drizzle over cooled cake for extra sweetness.
