    • 1 packet (1 oz) Hidden Valley Ranch seasoning mix (the star ingredient!)

    • 1 cup (8 oz) sour cream (full-fat for best creaminess)

    • ½ cup mayonnaise (adds richness)

    • ½ cup buttermilk (adjust for thickness)

    • Optional flavor boosts:
        • 1 tsp garlic powder

        • 1 tbsp fresh dill or chives

        • ½ tsp onion powder

        • 1 tsp lemon juice (for brightness)


Instructions

  1. Combine the base – In a bowl, whisk together sour cream and mayonnaise until smooth.
  2. Add buttermilk – Slowly mix in buttermilk until you reach your desired consistency (less for a thick dip, more for a dressing).
  3. Stir in seasoning – Add the Hidden Valley Ranch packet (and any extra spices).
  4. Chill & rest – Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes (overnight is even better) to let flavors meld.
